The H2e electric bowrider boat has been launched by Four Winns, marking the company's entry into the electric boating market. The 20-foot platform was showcased at the Miami International Boat Show 2023 (MIBS), equipped with Vision Marine's 180E electric outboard motor, and is the company's first all-electric model.

Four Winns has partnered with Canada's Vision Marine Technologies to provide propulsion from their 180e rotary electric outboard motor, a powerplant known for its quiet operation and low running costs. Four Winns states that the H2e was developed to meet contemporary customer needs for ease of use and sustainability.

Performance Numbers At A Glance

The boat has a top speed of approximately 35 knots (40 mph) and features a fully integrated onboard charger for quick recharging at dock shore power systems. The 180E outboard will deliver peak power of 230HP (equivalent) with rapid acceleration and the boat will have the same precise handling as their gas powered models. The state-of-the-art e-propulsion system consists of two (2) high voltage, high density, 700v battery packs, complete with a fully integrated powerful onboard charger that can be plugged into any dock shore power system, for quick recharging wherever you go cruising.

The H2e also includes a smart digital display with dual touchscreens, allowing users to connect to entertainment controls, phone, and navigation systems. H2e boaters can access an automatic logbook that provides trip history, battery status, security, and weather forecasts.

Reducing Carbon Emissions In Boating

According to Alexandre Mongeon, CEO of Vision Marine Technologies, boaters are increasingly conscious of their environmental impact and seek sustainable solutions to reduce carbon emissions without sacrificing their passion for boating. He expresses excitement in sharing his company's vision and passion for providing such solutions to the world.

“Just imagine jumping aboard your H2e, fully charged and ready to go, from your trailer or private dock. No noise, no exhaust, no refueling, no hassle… just a rewarding day on the water,” states Nick Harvey, Four Winns Brand Director.
